This blog is my sacred offering. I created it to share my passion and my wisdom. This is a safe and compassionate space. This is a place that imagination and consciousness built, that desire and love built.
It is difficult to share in words all that you can discover on my website. Take a deep breath. Relax. Check in with what’s right for you. And enjoy your exploring!
What’s with the name?
Buddha has become iconic and ubiquitous. We’re all familiar with the image of the Buddha. We’ve read the quotes. We likely have a statue in our home or garden. But something is missing. There’s something more.
Indeed, there is a new consciousness emerging on the planet and it is time to allow everything to “go new”, including ancient and sacred wisdom. Including you. This name, Happy Buddha Breathing, captured the essence of that idea for me. It is infused with the “freshness, passion, imagination and creativity” that are the faithful companions of “new”.
My approach to this blog, my wisdom, my creations, my life, is to breathe new life into it all. To add pure consciousness into old ideas about awakening, awareness and enlightenment. To go beyond the quotes. To break free from the fixed and limiting form of a statue and all that it represents. Into a living, breathing experience and expression. Remembering that it wasn’t meant for one. It is meant for us all. It’s not lofty and out of reach. It’s real and reachable. It’s what’s natural, if we allow it.
It’s time to bring it all to life.
A little about the essence of the blog…
To me, becoming the authentic, sovereign, creator self is the most important work an individual can undertake. Remembering the glorious, radiant, beautiful and divine being that you truly are. There are many paths that lead to the discovery of self. There is no formula, no one size fits all approach. And it is natural. I am sharing what has been my way, my experience. As with everything that comes your way, take what resonates, inspires or reminds and pitch the rest.
“It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life.
Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.”
~ Joseph Campbell
In addition, I feel passionate and compelled, really, to play with beauty in all areas of my life. I have come to know that we humans are hard-wired for beauty. Lauren Gorgo states so beautifully, something akin to what I feel, in one of her blog posts:
[This] frequency that we are…attuning to all but demands that we beautify, that we elevate life…it pulses thru us with such pure creative desire, such passionate exuberance, that if we don’t channel the energy in an uplifting way, it feels like we will explode.
May you be in awareness.
