My mom and I have created a beautiful tradition for ourselves. Each spring, just when we think we can’t take another moment of the Wisconsin winter, we attend the Milwaukee Art Museum’s annual event called Art in Bloom. And this year was the best! Vibrant colors. Amazing design. Oh so beautiful! Which means, of course, it needed to be a Beauty Break.
This event combines four of my loves – beautiful art, beautiful flowers, creativity and passion. Florists and garden clubs are invited to create a floral arrangement that captures the essence/feel/look of a particular piece of art housed at the museum. While it is a competition that is judged, I feel we all win, creators and viewers alike!
Enjoy my little photo tour of this year’s event. And if you’re interested in attending yourself you can find out more about it here.
